Almost we all of us want to get famous nowadays, because we think (actually it seem like that how the thing works) fame brings money and money brings more money.
This guy did an experiment by opening a new page on Facebook then bought some likes on eBay which were obviously robot likes. Then he has used Facebook's boost to promote the posts on that page and got some real intersections. Although it seems like a bit costly, but you know what not everyone get popular for free. So if you want to get something then you might have spend something too.
